Case in point, the folks heading up The Next Right have recently been sitcking it to World Net Daily (www.worldnetdaily.com) for pushing this silly “Birther” issue regarding whether or not President Obama is a natural born US citizen and therefore uneligible to hold the highest public office in the land. To me, it is a pretty straight forward issue, black and white, cut and dry: Either President Obama was born on US soil or he wasn’t? To this date, only President Obama and his handlers truly know the answer to this simple question. To this date, President Obama and his handlers haven’t come clean with an answer! So, if a water faucet is working properly and conitnues to pump out the water it was designed to pump out and doesn’t get turned off, guess what? I think that the water is going to continue to flow! That the people who run World Net Daily and others who have earned the label “Birthers” for wishing to get a straight answer on this question get mocked and publicly chastised is, (shall I say) – BULLSHIT! It is a legitimate question which deserves an honest answer. That there would be people who claim a poitical right bent not to keep this issue at the forefront just induicated to me that the right sure does have its lot of sissies clamoring about. Or, in the case of the folks at The Next Right, clucking!

Whether President Obama is a real American or not isn’t going to change my life one way or the other. It will not make the Red Sea part again (if it ever really did!). It will not undo the damage caused by hurricaine “Katrina”. Nor, will it change whether or not I am going to totally go bald and lose all my teeth by the age of 90.  But, if Americans really do value the integrity of our US Constitution, President Obama needs to finally come clean with the subject. If he is clean, the issue dies and fades away. It is solved. He doesn’t seem to want that to happen. If our US Constitution is being bent or broken in order to accomodate President Obama, that should be news – BIG news! But, with people who claim to be on the right (and it shouldn;t be just folks on the right’s concern) that are opting to impose censorship on discussing the issue, I am going to cll them out on it. It is these very people that helped get President Obama elected inthe first place…..OMG, there it is….here is the link at why they wish to impose censorship!

Truly, the “Birther” issue alienates the squeemish minded and those who ride the political fence, root for the San Franicsco 49ers when they win the Super Bowl, dump them then root for the Pittsburgh Steelers when they win. They are like the tide of the oceans. One minute in, the next minute out. And with friends like the censorship Nazis who run and live at The Next Right, who needs enemies?

Mexico City (IMHE) – In a determined effort to replicate the superficial success of American President Obama’s “Cash For Clunkers” program, the government of Mexican President Felipe Calderon announced today the unveiling of its “PESOS FOR POTTYS” program. The program is being created to both stimulate a lagging Mexican economy and stem the tide of the illigal alien migration north on to American soil. Translated into broken English from uninterpreted Spanish, President Calderon said, “It is time to flush the toilet from the north and keep our illegal alien population who refuse to follow the rule of law of the United States of America here in Mexico and use their tithes, talents and traditions to further grow our great country’s economy. It is like a game of ping-pong we are playing, it is time to swat back and begin stemming our preventable flow of lost human capital. A logical first step is to raise Mexico’s toilet standard’s to that of the Gringos from the north. We can show them we can be just a resourceful of our own means as they are.” Due to the complex burocracy required to impliment the program, it is not yet clear how Mexico’s citizenry wil be paid, who will replace their used toilets or if the exchanged toilets will automatically be renderd into scraps of heap and shipped off to Red China and then be returned as sold goods to North America. No word yet from the Obama administration yet as to what America’s involvement may be in this program. The President has decreed “to be left alone” while lavishly vacationing on the American taxpayer’s dime on Martha’s Vineyard (MA).

“Last night changed my life. Houston based television pastor Joel Olsteen had an important message for all of us last night on ABC Family Channel. Its message was titled, “Don’t Have A Critical Spirit”. In short, the substance of the message was devoting more conscious thought into praising situations and people whenever possible rather than decrying the negativity of them. Pastor Olsteen says for us to avoid spending time in environments which will accommodate the focus of attention on the one thing that is a blemish (i.e., a tiny scratch on an otherwise beautiful creation) and those folks drawn to remembering only the one thing ever done wrong at their expense while forgetting the ninety-nine things that were done right. We’ve all had personal and business relationships with negative people who seem to solely exist to perpetuate the continuing drama of existing off of and in the negative. I’ll concede what the vast majority of us do when things are tight, not the way that we really would either wish them to be or know darn well that we can change for ourselves we if would only try: “I have been one of those negative people for a very long time. Not anymore. I have had my spiritual epiphany!” I have Pastor Olsteen and his message to thank for this. Although, perhaps not for the implied reason that a good ole redneck, tobacco chewing, beer guzzling, gun toting right-winged conservative such as myself might have you believe. Pastor Olsteen’s message was a necessary condition for my new found outlook on life. However, it was a TV ad I saw right after Olsteen’s show on VH1 which provides the sufficient condition which has me a fired up: Enter, “Flirty Girl Fitness!”

Hot diggity doggie no longer Governor Sara Palin Lycra splitting spandex dancing prancing! Never, ever in my life have I been so inspired to action to appreciate the finer things in life (i.e., opportunity, freedom, marketability, productivity et al) and stop dwelling in the negative than to see these female fitness models twist, swivel, contort, distort, comport, report and whatever other short and snort name that can be invented exercising themselves to life promoting a new fad in the fitness industry. And while these fitness models may have been disappointed that the majority of their physical exertion and verbal endorsements wound up on the cutting room floor, I was transported into a world which I now find has been absent for such a long time. For, while I have always believed that there is this entity I choose to call “God” (not Rush Limbaugh or Barack Obama) who walks with me on a daily basis and provides me plenty of teachable moments, I try to shun the grace we all get in being around in the first place when things are not going my way.

However, my “God” is a creative being. “God” certainly has a great sense of humor. “God” understands that as a human being (by nature), like you, I am a primate. I respond instinctively to events which occur within the animal kingdom. Sometimes, biology plain and simply trumps theology. Our primate relatives have known this since the beginning of time. Last night convicted me of this. Truly, I now have the “fun in da mental” with my priorities. Being motivated with life is mostly mental, isn’t it?

Joel Olsteen is a great speaker and there are plenty like him here in this marketplace. But, last night, it wasn’t God speaking to me through “the man ascending from the pulpit.” It was the “women descending from the dancing pole!” I heard the challenging words to stop being a critical spirit; I now experience the creativity of being spirited in applying the practice”.

If for no other reason, this new nominee IS a blatant racist and anti-constitutionlist. Perhaps, just like her nominator? Damn, how the shoe style changes when it is put on the other foot!

“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life,” said Judge Sotomayor. HER words not mine. Evidently, this racist remark will go unchallenged by the cult followers of Cult Leader In Chief Obama. Sad, a radical anti-constitutionalist will now be considered for a lifelong appointment to the United States Supreme Court. How supreme?

I do know that this electronic medium can be a very dangerous place to lurk when making money to pay bills and developing a career which can lead to a prosperous retirement should be of the essence. And I will laugh thinking that this can ever become manifest in the Fort Wayne marketplace which I reside! It has just never happened for me living in my birthplace. All the best intentions in the world have not transpired into anything remotely financially or materially lucrative (“GOOD GRIEF, CHRIS MATTHEWS,  SHUT THE FUBAR UP! WHAT A CLOWN!”).  Almost something 40-something years of age,  Lance Cordill can get laughed at for being a fool and a loser.  But, at least when I look at myself in the mirror, I know that I have only myself to blame for any of my failures;  I have many others to thank for my successes. I am strong enough and man enough to admit and accept this. So, my alter ego is here to give me a medal!

As of this posting on April 30, 2009, I do not know what the future holds for me (or, anyone else). So, whether the question, “To Blog Or Not To Blog”,  can be answered at all besides wasting valuable time (even though I am listening on the Internet to the Michael Medved radio show!) when I should be applying myself in the direction of creating commerce. I shall experiment with this tool for a bit.  See where it leads. There may come a time when having access to a medium like this will not be allowed (by the government and our fearless leader, OBAMA?). Most assuredly the answer to the title question would certainly be apparent.  I pray to God it never comes to that.
